How does it work?
A Reiki practitioner has undergone formal training and been attuned under a recognized Reiki Master, and is a direct link or channel for Life Force energy which is within and surrounds all life.
This connection is to pure energy and is in no way influenced by the thoughts, feelings, or intention of the practitioner.
This energy enters through the crown of the Practitioner’s head and is released through the palms of their hands, making Reiki a very nurturing healing hands on practice.
Who can benefit from a Reki Healing?
Everyone!
Who of us doesn’t need a helping hand (or two) on life’s path?

Reiki is well suited for dealing with:
-
Anger
-
Physical Pain
-
Frustration
or just for slowing down and taking some time-out. Reiki is one of the gentlest hands-on healing methods and can be a great aid for anyone who has suffered trauma.

Reiki has been used to give comfort for hundreds of years and has been a life changing catalyst for many people around the world.

-
Anxiety
-
Depression
What can I expect during and after a Reiki Healing?
This energy can be experienced in many ways as each of us is different. Common sensations are: heat or warmth, tingling, cold, pressure, static charge to name a few.
Many people feel like their ‘batteries are being charged’.
Very common feedback is a sense of profound peace and relaxation, reduced pain from physical complaints and a clear mind.
Direct Liniage of Masters
The ability to serve as a conduit for Reiki energy is past from Master to Student.
A serious Reiki practitioner will be able to trace their lineage back through their line to Dr. Mikao Usui, the founder of this Healing Tradition.
Below is my lineage, having been initiated by Barbara McGreggor in the Usui Reiki Method.
